What to expect

Discover Casablanca's blend of modern energy and old-world charm on this private 4-hour tour. Your driver will take you through the city's most iconic landmarks, with the option to add a private guide (which includes a traditional Moroccan mint tea stop) and the interior visit of the Hassan II Mosque, available separately. Perfect for cruise passengers, layover travelers, or anyone wanting a quick, comfortable introduction to Morocco's largest city.

This is a private tour, built around you — there's no bus to catch, no group to keep up with, and no fixed script. Your driver and guide adjust the pace to however you like to travel, whether that means lingering at the mosque or moving briskly between stops.

Expect a mix of grand and everyday Casablanca: monumental colonial-era architecture and one of the world's largest mosques, alongside quiet medina lanes and a seafront where locals actually spend their afternoons. It's a compact introduction to a city most visitors only pass through.

By the end of the four hours, you'll be dropped back exactly where you started — hotel or port — with a real sense of the city, not just a list of photos taken from a bus window.

Itinerary

09:00
Hotel/port pickup

Your driver and guide meet you at your hotel lobby or cruise terminal, holding a sign with your name. From here, the tour runs entirely at your own pace — no groups to wait for, no fixed schedule to keep.

09:30
Hassan II Mosque (exterior, or interior if selected)

One of the largest mosques in the world, built directly on the Atlantic with a retractable roof and a minaret over 200 metres tall. If you've added the interior visit, you'll explore the prayer hall and ablution rooms at a fixed entry time — otherwise, you'll admire the exterior and courtyard, still one of Casablanca's most striking sights.

10:45
Corniche & Ain Diab seafront

A scenic drive along Casablanca's Atlantic seafront, lined with beach clubs, cafés, and palm-fringed promenades. A good stretch to slow down, snap a few photos, and see how locals spend their time by the ocean.

11:30
Old Medina walk

A short walk through Casablanca's original walled town, predating the modern city that grew up around it. Narrow lanes, small workshops, and everyday street life offer a contrast to the boulevards you've just left behind.

12:15
Mohammed V Square & Art Deco district

The administrative heart of the city, surrounded by grand French colonial-era buildings and one of the best collections of Art Deco architecture outside Europe. Look up as you walk — the facades here tell the story of 1920s and 30s Casablanca.

12:45
Habous Quarter (New Medina)

Built by the French in the 1930s as a 'new medina,' this neighbourhood blends traditional Moroccan design with a planned, orderly layout. It's the best place in the city for handicrafts, spices, and traditional bakeries — and a favourite for picking up souvenirs.

13:15
Moroccan mint tea stop (if selected)

A pause at a local café for a glass of traditional Moroccan mint tea — poured from height, the way it's always been served. A small but essential part of Moroccan hospitality, and a nice way to rest your feet before the final stretch.

13:45
Drop-off

Your driver returns you to your hotel or the port, exactly where the day began. If your flight or ship departs later, just let your guide know — the schedule can flex around your onward travel.
